Welcome and thank you for your interest in participating in Ales for Tails 2025. This is out first year at the Shongweni Club and we’re expecting it to have a big impact in ticket sales and ultimately funds raised for the charities. About AFT 2025
- This is the 9th edition of the event.
- In 2024 around 1,600 tickets were sold for the event.
- After expenses the money raised goes to the 12 animal charities.
- With the new location and multiple charities being supported we are hopeful to sell in the region of 3,000 tickets. 300 were sold by 25 June.
- Approximately 600 VIP ticket holders will have exclusive free tasters of the home brew pledges until 5pm. Thereafter they will join the general drinking ticket holders in paying for drinks from the commercial alcohol traders.
- We are extending our opening times to 10pm.
- No extra licensing is required as the venue is fully licensed.
Terms
- No entrance fee is required for alcohol traders.
- 20% of your income on the day will be paid to the organiser either in cash on the day or by eft within 3 days after the event. Proof of income is required by a point of sales system.
- Cups will be supplied (currently 330ml). You will not serve customers that don’t have a cup.
- Maximum of 4 staff per 3x3m stand
- No shelter, tables or chairs will be provided.
- You agree to share the event on your social platforms.
