It used to be that the term ‘Cover Band’ was a dirty word, bringing to mind images of the zealously-bearded and tone-deaf, belting out dinosaur hits at the KEG & nobody to the tap of a lone foot (Mustang Sally, anyone?) But no more, thanks to NO FLY ZONE. Comprised of stalwart talent in the form of Stuart Senar, Andy Makins, Rob Stories & Roly Struckmeyer, NO FLY ZONE boast a rocking repertoire that includes all that is cool from The Chilli Peppers to Kings of Leon. Having graced local and international stages alike, with popular outfits such as Stealing Love Jones and the Pixie Bennet Band, NO FLY ZONE promise an exciting performance, not to mention a great party!

 The Name On The Drum
Formed in 2011, The Name On The Drum consists of Ben Bruzas (guitar, vocals), Liam Barnard (bass) and Nat Bruzas (drums, vocals).
“TNOTD” plays a mix of original alternative rock, punk and indie as well as a variety of covers. They play as a two or a three piece band, ranging their sound from full electric to simple acoustics. Influences include, Rise Against, Frightened Rabbit, Blink 182, and Kodaline.
Their song writing is heavily influenced by current world issues and creating awareness through their music.
Based in Hillcrest, they have played shows around KZN, including La Casa (PMB), The Winston Pub (DBN), The Rock Music Bistro (Umzumbe), Music in The Hills (MiTH, Hilton), Jack Rabbits (Morningside), Amsterdam Bar (DBN), The Bus Stop (DBN), as well as other venues.
“TNOTD” has also performed at various Music Festivals, Splashy Fen 2017, Pecanwood Oktoberfest (2016), Ales For Tails, Roseway Waldorf’s Musical Moonlight Market and Organic Market, Monteseel Music Fest, Outland Festival open mic 2016.
